Wrangler does your festival laundry

What?: Mothers of teenagers the world over rejoice at the possibility of an extended washing machine lifespan, but black bin liner sales are set to tumble. As now there is no need to take your dirty laundry home post festival.

Wrangler are positioning themselves as your future saviours in the battle against the ubiquitous festival mud bath. The Lowlands festival in the Netherlands will see the jeans manufacturer setting up pop up Laundromats in a bid to make your festival experience that little bit cleaner. Simply hand over your clothes in exchange for a free pair of Wrangler emblazoned overalls and they will wash your dirty attire for you for no cost whatsoever. Not only that but they will send you a text to let you know they are ready. The limited edition overalls are also yours to keep.

So what?: Festivals are starting to clean up their act. AgreenerFestival.com is already promoting greener and cleaner practices with the introduction of an award for improved sustainability across the festival circuit.

Wrangler’s pop up Laundromat serves to make festival going a cleaner experience. Whether people are likely to strip off, echoing rival jeans manufacturer Levis’ iconic advert in the process, seems unlikely but it’s a clever gimmck nonetheless and gives a hands on and memorable product experience.

Not only are your clothes clean, but you’re also perfectly kitted out for a job as a window cleaner or a mechanic.

Cue students staggering to festivals wearing their entire filthy wardrobe.
